MA Graduate Collections 2005 Below are highlights of London College of Fashion's MA Graduate Collection Show. Pleating and sophisticated shaping was used throughout each collection. All images supplied by London College of Fashion.

Catalina Duque Velez - Womenswear Catalina's collection encompassed various pleating techniques used differently for each piece. The colour palette ranged from soft pink, chocolate brown, spice orange and deep greens. Highlights: soft pink dress, off the shoulder ruching, with soft pleating around the waistline. Soft gathered pleating in the skirt. |

Kyura Song - Womenswear The dominant Colour in Kyura's collection was dove grey with accents of steel grey used especially in a 'wrap around' effect on bodice and skirt. Pleating and tucking technique used to artistic effect on all pieces. Deep seamed gathering of material on front sections and bustle's shown on some pieces. |

Kyung Hee Choi - Womenswear Structured but yet soft and billowy shapes. Pleating and folding techniques again in evidence with gathering of materials used in some pieces to form both front and back bustle's. Read more about Kyung's Collection. |

Katherine Kwei - Accessories Collection reminiscent of 1930's evening wear with a hint of the classic Grecian style. Colour palette ranged from white, cream, light coral, spice tones to black. Soft gathering technique used especially on top half of dresses. A Simple and elegant collection. |

Ling Ying Wong - Womenswear Deep colours used including acqua, turquoise, sea blue, berry spice, and burgundy. Use of double layering of sheer fabrics. Asymmetrical hemlines used in many pieces with short fronts and long draping backs. |

Kimyung Yoon - Womenswear Quirky 'little girl lost' look. Sweet punky style with gathered shorts, draped detailing on trousers, short skirts and three quarter length trousers and knickerbockers. Colours used mostly from the earth colour tones palette. Interestingly, different flash of colour used as shown in picture on the left with use of lemon and turquoise chiffon used in the asymmetrical gathering of the hemline. |

Devender Kharb - Womenswear Different use of extreme pleating techniques throughout entire collection. A striking high priestess/goddess look. Touch of Japanese influence, asymmetrical pleats were almost like steps. Read more about Devender's Collection. |

Puwanit Catanananda -Womenswear/Surface Textiles Use of geometric inspired patterns and pleating throughout collection. Use of light and 'chiffony' type fabrics. This piece of the collection was one of the more softer designs in the collection. |
