FIND FASHION TALENT

FashionFinders aims to get up and coming fashion talent recognised. For us, this means starting at the grass roots - the fashion design colleges and Graduate Fashion Week 2007.

Our remit is to hunt out new fashion designers and give them and their first collections exposure to those who can help them in their chosen fashion careers. We enable graduate fashion designers to showcase their work in a number of ways; a fashon designer directory for designers, the setting up of online boutique to sell your graduate collection, showacasing your talent via your portfolios, show pictures etc all accessible from the fashion designer directory.

Who Are We Looking For?

Designers who will be graduating in the year 2007 who wish to either showcase and sell their collection in their own online boutique. We are looking for new graduate fashion designers who have that certain something going on. If you are a designer who recognises that you have more than just design talent to see you through in whatever you want to be in the fashion industry contact us.

Is There A Selection Process?

There is a selection process because we want to meet designers who are serious about what they want to be in the fashion industry, serious about their final year collections and realistic about just how tough it is to make a name for themselves out there. If we think you have that right 'something' and think that your final year collection has the makings of becoming a fashion label we would like to work with you.

Does it Cost anything?

There is a cost for inclusion in the fashion designer database which enables potential employers to view your designer profile, CV and any other supporting work as well as contact you.

How Will My Work Be Marketed?

Graduate fashion designers have two ways of showcasing their work on our site - one involves showcasing and then selling their final year collections in your own online boutique and the other involves just showcasing your work such as portfolios, CV, Show Pictures, Designer Profile in the Fashion Designer Database.

Designers can also market themselves by getting a full designer profile put online with their CV and contact details and any press that has been created around you or your collection. Put showpictures of your graduate final year collection online, put your portfolio (up to 10 pages) online (don't worry we encrypt all images). We are marketing and giving exposure to designers on the back of Graduate Fashion Week 2006 and this will be a yearly event. The site is a resource for employers and people wanting to contact fashion talent.

Who Will My Work Be Marketed To?

We are on all the search engines and we also have a presence in fashion trade magazines and make the site known to all fashion editors, designers etc.
