So.. ..are these Uggs really for real? When I first saw these creations planted on a celebrity's feet - a celebrity that I do not wish to name - I thought, 'cute, but a bit cave womanish. I'll give this trend less than a season to disappear. Despite my predictions, we've seen the fleece lined boot pop up on the streets of LA, basking on sun baked beaches and staggering out of the latest night clubs in the early hours of the morning. So what is it about the Ugg boot that we love? Is it the ability to hang up our uncomfortable looking heals every once and a while that attracts us to this unsightly trend? Or are we in fact subconsciously rebelling against this oh so glamorous bubble of sequins and lip gloss that we are currently emerged in? I for one, do not believe that one slip of a foot into these comfy cushions will instantly transform me into a vanity free bohemian darling. Well, I think that I can gladly announce that this season, I'll be keeping my feet warm in a gorgeous pair of tanned leather boots with spiky heals. The highest that I can find! However,……if by some form of madness you did happen to see me wearing a pair of Uggs, they would be teamed with this seasons tweed pencil skirt, an embellished sequin camisole top with a slick of lip gloss. Oh…. and all worn on a beach in Malibu.
